Structural Integrity: A true Big & Tall chair requires a Class 4 gas lift and a 27" or larger reinforced base to prevent tipping and cylinder "sinking" over time.

For users over 6'2" or 250+ lbs, a standard chair's foam can "bottom out," placing direct pressure on the sit-bones and tailbone. Our chairs utilize High-Density Molded Foam or heavy-duty mesh that maintains its shape. We also prioritize Width-Adjustable Armrests to prevent shoulder crowding, ensuring the user can sit with a neutral shoulder position for better upper-body health.
